A man that allegedly led police on a high speed chase and allegedly tried to hit a police officer has been found mentally unfit for trial.
38-year old James Tracy will now be sent to the Illinois Department of Human Services where they will decide what to do with him.
Based on evidence in court Judge H. Chris Ryan says Tracy will be able to stand trial again within a year.
Tracy allegedly started a chase in the Lostant area, went to Marshall County and back and then went up Interstate 39 to Interstate 80 near Utica.
Tracy was accused of aggravated fleeing and aggravated assault.
