Corn Belt Energy Rate 11 participants won’t have power shutoffs today after all. The co-op says it’s rescheduling an equipment test to sometime later this summer. It says that’ll let customers keep their power on during storms so their sump pumps can keep working. Rate 11 participants get lower electric rates in exchange for the co-op turning off their power from time to time when overall demand is high. That helps Corn Belt keep the electricity flowing to everyone else.
