A declaration of emergency in Seneca is aimed at getting emergency road repair funds. No one’s sure how long River Rd. will be closed, even if the funding comes fast. The emergency proclamation will help get access to more funding sources for dealing with the trouble left over from Monday night’s flash flood. The village board will discuss the situation at its meeting next Tuesday night.
