President of the Canal Corridor Association Ana Koval says the I&M Canal boat is a great starting place for exploring the I&M Canal National Heritage Area.
Tours are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm.
Koval also says it’s a great history lesson.
She says the tour gives you a taste of what is was like when Chicago was the frontier.
Tickets are $9 for kids, $17 for seniors and $20 for adults.
The boat is pulled by a mule just like it would have in the past.
