Some businesses affected by the drought that began on June 15th can apply for Small Business Administration relief loans. Plant nurseries, small agricultural cooperatives, small aquaculture businesses, and private non-profit organizations involved with farming can apply. Loan amounts can be up to $2 million at interest rates of 2.88%. Farmers and ranchers themselves cannot get SBA loans.
