Christie Pasieka from the Empowered Women of Starved Rock Country mural project has a place for the artwork. With the LaSalle City Council’s approval last week, she might get it put up this year.
The council approved the mural for a building in the 500 block of 1st St. That’s next to an empty lot the city owns and is looking for a developer to buy. Pasieka says the mural can be moved when that happens.
