Three times a year, LaSalle City Hall is adorned with a giant American flag. Mayor Jeff Grove says the flag was put up for Celebrate LaSalle and will come down after Independence Day. Grove says it’ll be back for Labor Day.
The next time it’ll be up again after that will be Memorial Day 2022. The flag came from the Flags of Freedom display in Princeton. When that group retired one of its flags, it traded it to the city of LaSalle for a contribution of $200.
