For the first time in two weeks, the coronavirus is blamed for lost lives in LaSalle County. The county’s health department reported Friday a woman in her 70’s and a woman in her 80’s died of the virus this week. They bring the fatal case count to 312.
The number of currently known cases has dropped to 397 as recoveries outnumber new cases. The department reports 20 new cases this week for 12,938 so far. And there were 32 recoveries for 12,541 total.
