Half of the $243 million in property taxes billed in LaSalle County this year is due today (July 1). The Treasurer’s Office will take payments in person at the Etna Rd. courthouse, but anyone going should expect long lines. Most area banks will also take payments on the treasurer’s office’s behalf. And payments can go in a drop box outside the courthouse. Another option is to pay online. The second installment is due September 1.
