It’s going to be another 30 days before an accused murderer can get a mental fitness evaluation.
Judge Cynthia Raccuglia held a status hearing on 29-year old Michael Swift on his mental fitness.
But because of a scheduling issue, he won’t be able to be evaluated at the end of the month.
Public Defender Tim Cappellini said that the defense is exploring using an insanity plea for Swift.
He is accused of killing 21-year old Grace Taylor back in April.
