The dual credit program at Putnam County High School has enabled a McNabb teen to finish high school with a diploma and an associate’s degree. Abigail Thompson went through Illinois Valley Community College’s Running Start program to get an associate of arts. She’s also taking summer classes to get an associate of science. Then, she plans to transfer to Bradley University in Peoria for psychology to become a counseling psychologist.
