The 38th annual fundraising auction for St. Bede School topped $500,000. Associate Director of Development Katherine Koyak says $205,000 was specifically for replacing the skylight windows in the abbey church.
The rest helps keep tuition low enough for families to afford.
Mobile bidding was part of the auction again this year. Koyak says people in the St. Bede family could participate in the auction from anywhere in the country.
