The Radium Girls author Kate Moore has a new book about a woman of the 1800’s who defied her husband and ended up in an insane asylum for it. The book is called The Woman They Could Not Silence. Elizabeth Packard’s life is presented in the book. Moore will talk about the research she did for it in a forum via Zoom this Saturday at two. Reddick Library in Ottawa and the LaSalle Public Library will host the forum.
