The Federal Emergency Management Agency is offering money to pay for funeral expenses for people who died of the coronavirus. The LaSalle County Emergency Management Agency says it won’t cover pre-paid funerals and some other arrangements. But others who have receipts, funeral home contracts, and other documentation can ask for financial help. Costs that can be covered are those for a casket or urn, transporting the body, and a grave marker. The number to call is 844-684-6333 Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm Central Time.
