Lasalle County Sheriff Tom Templeton has announced his retirement.
Templeton asked the Lasalle County Board to name Sheriff Adam Diss as his replacement for the rest of his year and a half term.
Templeton’s last day will be at the end of the month.
He’s worked at the Sheriff’s department for 50 years.
