Congressman Adam Kinzinger says he’s not planning to run for a statewide race anytime soon.
Kinzinger says there is a reason that he doesn’t want to run in the state right now.
He says that the district maps haven’t been drawn officially yet for Congress.
The congressman discussed on a conference call how the Republican Party needs to change and get away from some of the current rhetoric.
He also says it’s seems like both sides are just trying to blame each other for the issues in America rather that work together.
Kinzinger will have several people running against him in the primary elections in his own party.
