Ottawa police officer Andrea Harden is new as a full time officer. She’s worked part time for the Sheridan Police Dept. and was full time as an Ottawa 911 telecommunicator. Because she’s already trained for part time police work, she’s going to a police academy designed for preparing officers to switch from part-time to full-time. And she’ll get 14 weeks of field training before getting a patrol assignment.
