There is a new area in front of Ottawa Township High School because of generous donations from one graduating class.
The Ottawa Township High School class of 1971 gathered Friday to dedicate their new area that is in front of the passageway at the high school.
Class member Dan Eilts explains why he says the class of 1971 is the best class to graduate from OHS.
Eilts says that the class has given more back than any other class in the 143 year history of Ottawa Township High School.
In the new “O” area the class created an area with some mulch around the top.
The area also has some new benches that are dedicated to those who have died, a stone with the pirate’s logo, and a plaque.

This wreath is dedicated to the members of the class of 1971 who have passed away.

A stone that was created for the “O” area because class member Dan Eilts says he saw something like it in a yard and thought it would be a nice addition.
