Larry Smith says he’s disappointed that he didn’t get to show his evidence in his complaints against the LaSalle County Clerk’s Office. The LaSalle County Republican Party Chairman reacted to a court case dismissal on WCMY’s Morning Meeting Thursday.
Smith accused County Clerk Lori Bongartz and election judges of mishandling mail-in ballots. That, he says, wrongly gave wins to State’s Attorney Todd Martin and Illinois House member Lance Yednock, who are Democrats. For all he says the ballot handlers should have done differently, he says also the Republican Party should have been better prepared to stand up for election integrity.
