The micro food pantry in front of Oglesby City Hall is open to anyone any time for giving or taking. But Mayor Dominic Rivara says the box may have to be locked after hours if vandalism keeps happening. Some people have wasted the food by spilling it out.
Rivara is also asking people to make sure the food they put in it is still good to eat. If it’s expired, the city has to throw it out.
