Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has announced the return of the Illinois and DuQuoin Sates Fairs this year.
After being cancelled in 2020 for the first time since WWII because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pritzker says the 2021 theme “One Illinois” was chosen to unite fair goers and celebrate the state’s number one industry: agriculture. Illinois State Fair Director Kevin Gordon says the theme is meant to symbolize unity and strength as the fair reopens it gates.
