By WCMY News Jun 7, 2021 | 2:10 PM

Seneca will host to a run-walk in the future that will be in honor of a student who committed suicide due to what has been called COVID loneliness.

Trevor Till graduated from Seneca High School and went onto be a student at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where he took his own life.

His mother Lisa Moore says he was in several activities while in high school.

Moore says he was around everywhere at Seneca High like being captain on the cross country team to being the lead in the high school musical.

The run-walk will also help benefit two scholarships in Trevor’s honor.

The event will be on Saturday morning August 7th starting in the front of Seneca High School and ending at the high school track and field.
