Mental health services are to be expanded in four counties because of a federal grant to St. Margaret’s Health. The Center for Holistic Health and Wellness will be set up in Princeton next to the Center for Family Health. The Arukah Institute in Princeton and many area police departments are in on a partnership with St. Margaret’s to help deliver mental health care on demand. Police often are involved with people facing mental health crises that must be dealt with immediately. The grant is for $4 million to cover two years of service for Bureau, Putnam, Marshall, and LaSalle counties.
