The LP Cavaliers held their final wrestling triangular meet of the season by defeating Putnam County 54-12 and losing to Coal City 55-24.
Gunnar Skoog, Connor Lorden and Rylan Poole each earned two wins for the Cavaliers.

The series finale between the White Sox and Indians yesterday was postponed due to rain. The two teams will instead play a split doubleheader on September 23rd to make up for the postponement.
Javier Báez drilled a two-run homer as the Cubs completed the three game sweep of the Padres with a 6-1 win at Wrigley Field. Anthony Rizzo added a two-run double and Adbert Alzolay earned the win after allowing one-run on three hits over five innings. The Cubs visit the Giants tonight.
The Dodgers scored eleven first inning runs en route to a 14-3 win over the Cardinals in LA. Paul Goldschmidt and Dylan Carlson each homered for St. Louis, which dropped two of three in the series. The Cards host the Reds tonight.
White Sox closer Liam Hendriks and Cubs reliever Ryan Tepera are being honored as the Relievers of the Month for May. Hendriks converted eight saves last month and didn’t allow an earned run while striking out 19 in nearly 12 innings pitched. Tepera made 14 appearances in May, giving up just one run on three hits, striking out 19 without allowing a walk. This marks the second time since MLB began giving out the Award in 2017 that both winners came from the same city.
