The first day of the Peru Libraries summer reading challenge is coming up next week.

Monday, June 7th is the first day the challenge starts.

Lynn Sheedy the youth services manager for the library says when it comes to how many books the library has:

Sheedy says the library has expanded their book selection to have books on kindness, love and diversity.

Sheedy also says if a person reads more than 60 minutes a day they can enter a raffle ticket they get to earn prizes at the end of the challenge on Saturday, August 14th.

All ages are allowed to participate in the challenge.
