VIDEO: Vince Neil’s voice couldn’t make it through his first show after the Pandemic

Poor Motley Crue fans.   First you bought tickets to see them with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett at Wrigley.  Then videos resurfaced of frontman Vince Neil, overweight and unable to sing.  Then the rumors that he’s getting in tour shape, then Covid happened.  Now tours are getting rescheduled for later this year…but NOT the Crue/Leppard/Poison/Jett show.  Why?  The bands released a statement saying it’s the only way they can play to everyone who bought tickets to the shows.  Or is it really because Vince can’t sing anymore?

This happened Saturday at the Boone River Festival outside of Des Moine, IA.  (warning, F-bomb ahead)

Oof!  To his credit, this was during the 14th song of the set.  His most recent solo gigs (from 2019) only featured 12 songs.  But if you watch clips from other songs of the set(here, here, and here), it’s not like he sounded good on those either.  Tickets were $60 and up.  I would be ticked if I paid for that.

And while we’re laughing at Vince, why not this greatest hit laugher.

So maybe it’s a GOOD thing that massive 80s rock tour is being postponed to 2022.
