The Marseilles Elementary School Board announced that they will be using their Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief funds for fixing a gym.
At Thursday’s meeting the board said there are two gyms at Marseilles Elementary school and gym one will be getting the most work.
The person in charge of maintenance Brent DeFore says that the second gym could get some work but it isn’t the first priority.
Boilers were replaced in the past year due to flooding that happened.
The plan is to improve the first gym during the summer.
