The first home game for the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp is on Friday May 28th.
It will take place at Veterans Memorial Park in Peru with no cost to enter for all home games.
General Manager June Keeley says the city has been doing a lot to get ready for opening day.
Keeley says that the city has added free Wi-FI for fans to use at the game.
The Pistol Shrimp will plays 60 games over 70 days during the summer.
Keeley also said that all weekend games like Friday and Saturday will be in the evening while games on Sunday will be in the afternoon.
