Water system improvements have revealed a water tower problem in Ottawa. City Commissioner Tom Ganiere says the pressure in the pipes is up—enough to send too much water into the water tower by the Pilkington glass factory.
The city’s hiring a company to install a valve to block the overflow. It’s costing $51,441 to make the correction.
