Taya Roe pitched six innings with seven hits and four strikeouts for the Lady Irish.
The Serena Lady Huskers won at home over Hiawatha 4-0.
Serena’s winning pitcher was Taylor Staton going seven innings with six strikeouts.
Streator lost at home to Morris in Tennis 3-2.
Victories for the Bulldogs were Davey Rashid in singles and the team of Max Baker and Cooper Wahl in doubles.

St Bede competed in a triangular meet with Sherrard and host Fulton High School.
Winners that competed for the Bruins: Jim Sanchez, Henry Orteza, Dominic Bima and Ethan Fleming.
Also in wrestling, LP won their triangular contest by defeating East Peoria and Oswego East.

Lucas Giolito carried the White Sox to a 2-1 win against the Twins at Target Field. Giolito struck out eleven over eight innings of one run ball. Adam Eaton and Leury García drove in runs for the South-Siders which took two of three in the series. The Sox visit the Yankees tomorrow night. Hear the game on the radio at 1430AM WCMY.
The Cubs ninth inning rally fell short in a 4-3 loss to the Nationals at Wrigley Field. Javier Báez homered in the ninth to cut the lead to one. Jake Arrieta took the loss after giving up four runs over five innings for the North-Siders. The four-game series wraps up today.
Jack Flaherty struck out seven and allowed two-runs over six innings in the Cardinals 8-5 win against the Pirates at Busch Stadium. The Cards host the Cubs tomorrow night.
In the WNBA, the Chicago Sky held on to beat the Dream 85-77 in Atlanta. The Sky improved to 2-and-0.
The PGA’s second Major tees off today as golfers will compete in the PGA Championship at the Kiawah Island Ocean Course in South Carolina.
