Maggie Carpenter had twelve strikeouts in a three-hit shutout for the Lady Irish.

Jack Olson went three innings with three earned runs and four strikeouts in the pitching loss for the Pirates.

Beau Ewers singled and blasted a solo home run for Crusaders with
Aidan Thompson pitching six innings with four strikeouts to earn the win.
Streator won on the road at Seneca 9-6
Payton Benning had a three-run double late in the game for the Bulldogs win.
The LP Cavaliers hosted Sandwich and won 11-3.

Seneca won the Sangamon Conference Championships by defeating Clifton and their host Dwight:

Yesterday on 1430AM WCMY Jose Abreu scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth in the White Sox’ 4-3 walk-in win at Guaranteed Rate Field. Matt Foster picked up the win for the Sox, who have won eight of 10.
Tune in tonight when the White Sox travel to Minnesota to face the Twins at Target Field. Dallas Keuchel takes the Mound for the South-Siders. Pregame starts at 6:00 with the first pitch at 6:40pm on the radio at 1430AM WCMY.
Kyle Hendricks took a shutout into the ninth as the Cubs beat the Tigers 5-1 in Detroit. Ian Happ went 3-for-4 with a homer and a pair of RBIs for the North-Siders who won two of three in the series. The Cubs host the Nationals tonight.
Cardinals pitchers walked eight batters in a 5-3 loss to a Padres, who swept the three-game series at Petco Park. The Cards jumped out to an early 2-0 lead when Nolan Arenado belted a two-run homer in the first. The Cardinals host the Pirates tomorrow night.
The Bulls defeated the Bucks 118-112 at the United Center. The Bulls ended the season 31-and-41.
Former Bulls player Toni Kukoc is heading to the Basketball Hall of Fame. The three-time NBA Champion was selected as a member of the Class of 2021.
