Mediacom is participating in the federal government’s Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. It’s to help families struggling financially because of COVID-19 keep paying for internet service. It provides up to $50 off a monthly internet bill and may also provide money to help buy a computer.
Households with income at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines qualify. So do those whose children qualified for free or lower cost school meals.
