It’s been two years since the TBM Avengers put on a Salute to Veterans at Illinois Valley Airport in Peru. The event returns tomorrow night and Saturday, and it costs nothing to get in. TBM Avengers Reunion Committee Chair Cary Miller says there’ll be fireworks and an aerobatics show tomorrow night starting at dusk. And there’ll be more on-the-ground events Saturday, including up close viewing of vintage World War II era aircraft.
