A Streator Woodland junior’s Eagle Scout project is to make picnic tables at Streator’s City Park look better. Jimmy Brinkmeyer says he won’t just paint them. He’ll turn them into game boards.
Players will need to take their own checkers or fashion them from things they find in the park. Brinkmeyer told the City Council this week, he wants to do the work by November.
