Several games were postponed due to Monday’s rain. Including the game scheduled on 1430 WCMY between Ottawa and the visiting LP Cavaliers. The series will now start today at King Field, with first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
The Ottawa girls did play at home and defeated Rochelle 4-0 in softball.
For the Lady Pirates, McKenzie Oslanzi struck out 10, with no hits and walked just one.
Morris won at home over Sandwich 3-0 in varsity baseball.
Connor Holdiman pitched five innings with ten strikeouts for the Redskins.
Also in varsity baseball Serena were winners at home over Earlville 13- 1 in five innings.
Marquette defeated Henry in JV baseball 13-1
The Crusaders Tom Durdan was the winning pitcher going 5 innings with eight strikeouts and two hits.
Also in JV baseball, Streator won on the road at Herscher 6-4.
Seneca hosted a triangular meet in wrestling and the Fighting Irish defeated Pontiac 66-6 and beat Wilmington 58-22. Winners for the Irish that competed: Luke Sangston Collin Wright Maveric Varland Billy Glasscock Jaden Casey Nate Othon Owen Feiner and Gavin Robertson

The Cardinals visit the Brewers tonight for the start of a three-game set. The Cards are coming off a three-game sweep of the Rockies over the weekend.
The Blackhawks closed out the 2020-21 season with a 5-4 overtime loss to the Dallas Stars at the United Center. Collin Delia made a season-high 45 saves in the defeat. The Hawks’ ended the season with a 24-25-and-7 record.
The Bulls are fighting for the final spot for the Eastern Conference play-in tournament when they host the Nets tonight. The Bulls trail the Wizards by two and a half games for the last play-in spot.
Tim Tebow is on track for a return to football. The Jacksonville Jaguars are planning to sign the former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback as a tight end. The 33-year-old last played in an NFL game with the New York Jets in 2012 before a brief stint in minor league baseball.
