The Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is available again from the LaSalle County Health Department. The clinics are on Saturdays by appointment at the health department building in Ottawa. You can make an appointment by calling 815-433-3366. You have to be 18 years old to get the one-shot vaccine. The health department wants women under age 50 to be aware of the possible risk of blood clots from the vaccine.
