Students going into human resources management can try for a new scholarship at Illinois Valley Community College. The Illinois Valley Society for Human Resource Management is putting $1,000 into the first award this fall. It’s hoping to award more in the years ahead. Students with grade point averages of 3.0 or higher may be eligible. Being involved in human resources projects and membership in the organization could count in the applicant’s favor.
