The Bruins Nick Pearce earned a win in singles and Brady Flanagan and Nathan Carlson also won as partners.
Ottawa JV tennis team defeated Rochelle.
Winners for the Pirates in Singles were Sebastian Cabrera and Karcin Hagi
In doubles, the teams of Ethan Hancock / Zander Houk, Ethan Cela / Taegeon Eom and Rylan Salas / Landon Thorsen were all winners.

In Streator, the Bulldogs defeated Plano in both the men’s and women’s division.
The Ottawa Pirates hosted a I8 triangular meet with LP and Rochelle
In the men’s division: LP came in first, the Pirates were second and Rochelle finished third.
For the women: LP placed first, Rochelle came in at a close second and the Lady Pirates took third.

The White Sox won both games of a doubleheader against the Detroit Tigers to take a three-game series in Chicago. The Sox took the first game 3-1 behind a stellar performance from starter Carlos Rodon, who struck out 12 batters before Liam Hendricks came on to notch his fifth save. In the nightcap, third baseman Yoan Moncada and outfielder Leury Garcia each drove in three runs to power the Sox to an 11-0 victory.

The Chicago Cubs got on the board early to end a scoreless drought and a losing streak with a 9-3 win over Atlanta. Anthony Rizzo had three hits for the North-Siders, who also got a home run from Jake Marisnick. The Cubs will now travel to Cincinnati to face the Reds tonight.
The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4-3 in extra innings to earn a series split. The Cards now head to Pittsburgh for a series with the Pirates starting today.
The Chicago Bears traded up to number eleven in the draft to select Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields. The Bears traded with the New York Giants to grab Fields, giving up the number 20 pick and a fifth-round selection this year plus a first-round and fourth-round pick in 2022. The last time the Bears selected a quarterback in the first-round was in 2017 when the team drafted Mitch Trubisky. Rounds two and three of the Draft will be held tonight. Rounds four-through-seven are on Saturday.
The Chicago Bulls are back on their home court tonight as they look for a win against the Milwaukee Bucks at the United Center. The Bulls are coming off a loss to the Knicks on Wednesday.
