It’s subject to change, but a June 28 trial date is scheduled for 37-year old Donald Fredres of Sandwich. State’s Attorney Todd Martin and Public Defender Ryan Hamer were in court, along with Fredres, Friday morning.
Judge H. Chris Ryan told Fredres of the consequences of a guilty plea or verdict. Fredres is accused of killing 62-year olds Brenda and Gregory Barnes by shooting them in their home near Sheridan March 16th. And he’s accused of shooting out the windows at his ex-wife’s home while trying to kill her the same night.
