The A’s powered past the White Sox 14-4 at Camelback Ranch. Lance Lynn gave up three runs over five innings for the loss. Eloy Jiménez, Yasmani Grandal, Zach Remillard, and Danny Mendick all drove in runs for The Sox.
During the loss, outfielder Eloy Jiménez was removed from the game with left shoulder discomfort after banging into the outfield wall while trying to catch a home run by Oakland’s Sean Murphy. Jiménez will be further evaluated today.
Cameron Maybin and Jake Marisnick each homered in the Cubs 6-2 victory over the Mariners at Peoria Stadium. Eric Sogard added a two-run single and Zach Davies earned the win after striking out eight and allowing one run over four and a third. The North-Siders host the Dodgers tonight.
Carlos Martínez threw six scoreless innings in the Cardinals 3-0 win over the Mets in Jupiter, Florida. Martínez allowed four hits and struck out five for the win. John Nogowski homered and Justin Williams smacked a two-run single for The Cards who will visit the Astros today.
The Chicago Bulls fell to the Cavaliers 103-94 at the United Center. Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 22 points. Lauri Markkanen added 17 points for the Bulls, who have dropped four of five. The NBA Trade Deadline is this afternoon.
The Blackhawks face the Panthers tonight for the second time in three days at the United Center.

The 28-year-old emerged as a hero during Kansas City Super Bowl 54 win, posting 133 total yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs victory over the 49ers.
