The Starved Rock Regional Center reports raising $28,000 at its annual Black and White Ball. That’s despite it not being an in-person event. The event was held online and featured 2021 ambassador Devyn Yanko. There was an auction, some money came from donations, and some money came from sponsors. The center is thankful to everyone who helped and says all of the money raised will be used locally. The Starved Rock Regional Center, based in Ottawa, provides therapy for children with special needs.
