The city of Marseilles is borrowing $8.1 million for sewer and water projects. The City Council approved the bond issues last night. Mayor Jim Hollenbeck says it’s for the project to extend the city north toward Interstate 80.
The city has been working toward growing toward the Interstate highway for many years.
