There were more new COVID-19 cases than recoveries in the LaSalle County Health Department’s statistical report Wednesday. Lately, recoveries have been outnumbering new cases, but it’s too early to know if this is a trend change. With 24 new cases, the county has had 11,163 known coronavirus cases. The eight recoveries added Wednesday make 9,243 so far. The figures leave 1,920 currently known cases.
