Christina Cantlin-Van Wiggeren will become an at-large judge in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. The Illinois Supreme Court nominated her to fill the vacancy left when Judge Gene Daugherity became an appellate judge. Cantlin has worked in private practice for 20 years with her family’s law firm. She graduated from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2001. For the last several years, she has been the Ottawa City Attorney.
