There were four days between the latest two reports of fatal coronavirus cases in LaSalle County. The county’s health department Tuesday reported fatal case number 279. The department says a man in his 60’s died after an infection with the virus.
The previous fatal case was reported Friday. The new infection rate is also relatively low with just 14 new cases Tuesday for 10,897 so far. And there have been 26 more recoveries for 8,751 as of Tuesday.
