The Peru Police Department says it recovered numerous items that were stolen from vehicles and garages in the southwest part of the city recently. The items were in a stolen vehicle. Some items haven’t been connected with their rightful owners yet. The department is asking anyone who lives in Peru who has something missing from a vehicle or garage to report it to Det. Sgt. Hocking at 815-224-6017. Items include power tools and electronics.
