Illinois gubernatorial candidate Paul Schimpf says Gov. Pritzker hasn’t handled the pandemic well.
Schimpf, a Republican who grew up in Waterloo, Illinois, announced his campaign Monday. He says the unifying issues across Illinois are good education for children, families being safe, and being able to retire on retirement plans.
Schimpf made his campaign announcement online this morning. He’s also making in person visits around the state, including one in Morris scheduled for this afternoon.
