The Ottawa Fire Department says an electrical problem led to a fire in the 700 block of Sherwood Ave. yesterday morning. The fire fighters went into the attic to tear into the space the smoke was coming from. They found charred joists and smoldering insulation. Damage is estimated at $30,000 to the home and $3,000 to the things inside.
