Ottawa’s south side fire station is closed. A fire department announcement Friday says the fire trucks, ambulances, and personnel that would normally be there will be at the main fire station over the weekend. The city is waiting for tests on an old tile that was removed. It may contain asbestos or it may have been glued in place with something contains it. The test results are expected to be in Monday.
