As long as an electrical substation in Oglesby is to be upgraded, City Hall would like to know if the power feed for the entire city can be upgraded too. Commissioner Jason Curran says the city can ask for a power line upgrade study to be part of the planning for the new substation. The city of Peru is also getting in on the study.
The city’s cost would be $2,250.
